More Republican lawmakers are commenting on the dire situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Wednesday, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said the surge of illegal immigration is indeed overwhelming Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials. He and other GOP lawmakers inspected a federal border facility in Donna, Texas earlier this week and reported witnessing “chaos from every corner.”
This included seeing dozen’s of migrant children confined to tightly-spaced areas. Some reports have claimed federal authorities are using a large play-pen with mats on the floor as bedding alternatives.
“Last month, was the busiest month in history for Border Patrol since they’ve been keeping records,” Jordan stated. “We saw one pod that was supposed to have 33 kids in this confined space area and they had 52, so that to me is overwhelming.”
Border Patrol in McAllen, Tx told us:
-March was the busiest month for illegal immigration in their history.
-They’re overwhelmed at their facilities.
-They spend 40% of their time processing migrants, instead of patrolling the border!
President Biden doesn’t seem to care.

Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported a record surge of migrant children crossing the southern border in March with nearly 19,000 minors traveling alone.
